Moist weather were expected to linger along much of eastern Queensland this week as a low-pressure trough continued to draw in moisture against the coastal areas.

Tomorrow was predicted as the heaviest precipitation period, with persistent storm activity expected across multiple regions of both regions.

Medical authorities warned that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, specifically given the ongoing climate situation.
